Snooker & Billiards Ireland board members, players and officials would like to congratulate Northern Ireland player Jordan Brown on winning the 2021 Welsh Open live on BBC and Eurosport TV.
The world No 81 from Antrim played his best ever snooker on the big stage to shock world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan 9-8 to win the title.
The former N Ireland amateur champion whose nickname is ‘’ the Antrim Ferrari ‘’ was a 750-1 outsider at the start of the event.
Jordan became only the fourth Northern player to win a WPBSA ranking crown. Only Alex Higgins, Dennis Taylor and Mark Allen had pocketed ranking honours before
