Mark Tuite wins Series 5 of the Masters

Twenty Six players started of the series five Masters Ranking event at the Ivy Rooms on Sunday Feb 26th and as ever the games were very competitive and very tight. Early Indications were that this was going to prove to be another week where some of the big guns would fall. Currently ranked number 1

Gleeson wins again in Carlow

It was an all Tipperary affair in Carlow for the final of the 3rd Masters event with Nenagh’s Tommy Gleeson just edging out Thurles player Ger Delaney by three frames to two in a superb final on Sunday. No.1 seed Gleeson had played some great snooker all day with 3-0 wins over Cork’s Derek O’Neill

Mark Tuite is the new Masters Champion

Killarney’s Mark Tuite was crowned the 2011 National Masters Champion on Sunday the 22nd of May after a long weekends play which saw him have to overcome some of the countries best players to take the title. Gleeson picks up another Masters win
