Snooker & Billiards Ireland held their 2025 AGM on Sunday the 25th of May in the SBI HQ Carlow. President Jim Leacy welcomed everyone and held a minutes silence for anyone who passed away during the year. The AGM was also held on line for members who could not attend in person.
SBI were delighted to see many members attending this years AGM to discuss Snooker & Billiards events for next season. SBI Chairman Tommy O Donoghue informed our members about what has happened during the past year within SBI and what is planned in the future within SBI.
The 2024 AGM minutes were read and they received a proposer and seconder to have them passed. This was followed with a report by SBI Treasure John Tobin on the financial side of the association.
Reports
Various Reports were given on all our Snooker & Billiards Events detailing what has been happening on and off the table in the Amateur, Century, Challenge, Senior, Super Senior, Billiards and Junior events. SBI also had reports on Referees, Disability, Coaching, Garda Vetting Anti Doping, Child Protection, Web site, and our Social Media platforms since the last AGM.
Leslie Carroll was elected as the new Secretary and John Tobin was elected unopposed as Treasurer, Jim Leacy was elected unopposed as President.
