Frank Sarsfield from St John’s Limerick won the 2021 SBI National Seniors (Masters) Over 40 Snooker Championships in the Crucible Snooker Club in Cork City . In the final Frank beat his club mate Mark Tuite 5 frames to 3 in an excellent final. Both players produced great snooker on Saturday to qualify for the final on Sunday the 26th of September.
This championship was open to players who are over 40yrs of age. The highest break went to Jason Keogh from Potters SC with a 78 Break.
Snooker & Billiards Ireland (SBI) would like to thank all the players, Crucible Snooker Club in Cork and TD David Joyce for running the event.
Mark & Frank will now play next month in the European Masters Championships for Team Ireland and after todays performance, they are playing excellent snooker.
