The New Institute Snooker Club, Nenagh will host the second ever Nenagh Open on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September. This event will hopefully provide an opportunity to witness some of the top snooker players from across Ireland, play in Nenagh, while also giving local talent a chance to test themselves against Ireland’s finest. The 2013 renewal saw the New Institute’s David Hogan defeat former professional Michael Judge, from the Q Club in Wicklow in the final.
This year the competition is being sponsored by The Abbey Court Hotel,Nenagh, which is part of the Great National hotel group. Additionally the highest break prize has been kindly sponsored by club member, Tony Seymour (Seymour Landscaping). The committee of The New Institute Snooker Club would like to express their thanks the management of The Abbey Court Hotel and also Tony, as it would not be possible to hold this event without their kind sponsorship.
