My name is John O’Brien, and I am a 4th-year student doing my Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy at PCI College.
I am kindly looking for your help in recruiting interviewees for my research studies. I am from Nobber County Meath, and I am undertaking my research study on the following:
The impact of personal therapy on a client’s sporting performance – an Irish perspective.
The purpose of this study is to identify how engaging in personal therapy may affect clients who play competitive sports in Ireland and how it may affect their sporting performance.
Who Can Participate? I’m kindly requesting any individual who is currently or who has previously attended personal therapy, within the past 20 years, and has attended at least 3 sessions, and who currently and/or previously has played competitive sport.
If you could share my participation letter. I have chosen this particular area of study of sport and psychotherapy as they are two areas in my life that I am very passionate about and have given me a lot of enjoyment, connection, learning, and growth over the years, particularly after being involved in a car accident in 2012 resulting in life-changing injuries. Hopefully, my research can help others who engage in personal therapy and play competitive sports.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
John O’Brien
