The event on Sunday 5th of October was split into 2 sections and produced two well deserved winners in Dan Kelly and newcomer to the tour Darragh Mar.
Darragh ! a fantastic prospect for Irish snooker reigned supreme all day navigating his way to the final unbeaten. His calmness and potting skills were evident in a comfortable 2-0 win over the much travelled and talented Alex henerbrey of Dungarvan.
Wicklow’s dan Kelly proved to be the form player all day only losing a tight match against world ranked number one player Colvin Obrien.
Highlight being a superb 59 break in the final. To take the match away from limerick man Patrick O’Rourke.
Everyone enjoyed the day, played well and now look forward to the upcoming WDBS Irish open in November.
SBI would like to thank All the players and carers who made the journey to Carlow to battle it out for the titles. Great preparation for what lies ahead.
We would also like wish Alex henerbrey, Fran Coyle and Colvin Obrien the very best of luck next week at the European snooker championships in Albania.
Please look out for any further information on all events disability or other.
Kind regards
Dylan Rees
