Darren Flaherty from Century SC in Ballina beat Hughie O Donnell from Tuam SC 3-0 in the 2018 Western Close held in Eglinton SC Galway yesterday , Hughie won the highest break of the day with a superb 81 break. Full report to follow

Jason Devaney from Ballina won the Connacht Snooker Association Close in the Century Snooker Club in Ballina on Sunday the 21st October. This event was sponsored by Albany Ballina. Jason had three centuries in the event and beat Gareth Kirwin 3 frames to 1 in a superb final.
