RIBSA move up on IBSF Rankings

The IBSF have just released the latest World rankings for 2012 with our RIBSA junior players moving up to their highest ever placing of 4th behind China, Thailand and England. Our Senior players move up to 3rd in their rankings while the Masters move up to 5th. This is a tremendous achievement by our RIBSA

IBSF Training Day with PJ

A training day with our National Coach PJ Nolan will be held in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club on Tuesday the 13th of November from 11am to 4pm to prepare the Republic Of Ireland Snooker team for this month’s IBSF World Championship in Bulgaria. The RIBSA players that will fly the flag in the event

RIBSA have been asked to send two international players to the Dubai Open which will take place in the Dubai Snooker club from the 4th to 10th of November. The event is been hosted to prepare the UAE players for the upcoming World Championships in Sofia and thus they are looking for us to send

IBSF World Championships

The Republic Of Ireland Snooker team for the 2012 IBSF World Championship has been now been confirmed with Johnny Williams, Greg Casey and EBSA Nomination Brendan O Donoghue competing in the Men’s event. Mark Tuite and Brendan Cooney will fly the Irish flag in the Masters event and it promises to be an exciting championship

World Billiards Championship

The World Billiards Championship will be held in The Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds from the 18th to the 28th of October. Ireland are the HIBSF Champions

The Senior Team of Brendan O Donoghue, Rodney Goggins, Greg Casey, Johnny Williams and Robert Redmond won the 2012 Home Internationals here in Pontins North Wales tonight. This is the only the fourth time in the history of RIBSA that we have won the prince of Wales title after victories in 1993, 2000 and 2001.
