Congratulations to the Crucible SC in Cork on winning the 2017 Munster Club Snooker Championships in the A and B categories in the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney on Sunday. Both teams will now compete in the All Ireland Club Championships this weekend.

Benny O Brien from the Kilkenny Shed won the 2017 Peter McNally Memorial Snooker Invitation event in Edenderry Snooker Club last weekend. Benny went on a potting rampage in Edenderry over the weekend, losing only 5 frames in the entire competition on his way to collect the “Peter McNally” cup. A field of 38 players

The 2016 Leinster Club Championship was played over Sat/Sun 3rd and 4th December in the Ivy Rooms Carlow. After the group stages the old reliables of current champions Kilkenny Shed qualified to play Newbridge CYMS “A” in the 1st Semi-final and former all-Ireland champions Q Club Wicklow played Potters Drogheda “A” in the 2nd.
