Local player Josh Boileau warmed up for this month’s European Under 21 Championship in Romania when he won the 14th staging of the Anthony Quinn Memorial Snooker Tournament in St Conleth’s CMWS, Newbridge.
In the final Josh beat James Fennessey from Edenderry 4 frames to nil in a superb high quality final to take the prestigious title.
Play commencing on Friday 28th February at 6pm and continuing through Saturday and Sunday in what was a very exciting weekend of snooker with 68 entries.
The committee of St. Conleth’s would like to thank Tony and Mena Quinn for their assistance in running this prestigious event year after year.
