The final of the 3rd Under 21 Cue School was contested between Ryan cronin from the Crucible snooker club in Cork city and Josh Boileau from Newbridge CYMS. In the first semi final Ryan accounted for his clubmate David Cassidy 3 frames to 1,while Josh overcame Jason Devaney from Ballina by 3 frames to 0.
The final proved to be a high quality match in which Ryan showed his fighting qualities winning by 3 frames to 2. In the final Josh had breaks of 49, 54 and 69 while Ryan won the fourth with a 71.
