The 12th year of the Under 12 Irish National Snooker Championship will be held on the 24th of May in the SBI Academy of Excellence in Carlow. Twelve years ago Corey Ramsbottom from Carlow won the first ever U-12 Title in 2014. This year the final will be played as part of Finals weekend from 5th – 7th of June.
ALL MATCHES WILL START AT 2PM – DUE TO 21 CHAMPIONSHIPS BEING PLAYED ON SAME DAY
In 2025 Calum Behan from Dublin won the title which is sponsored by The 147 Academy of PJ Nolan. This event has a free entry fee to encourage all young players from all parts of Ireland to participate in a SBI National event.
In recent years the u-12 title has also been won by Noel Gleeson, Leone Crowley, Jack O Brien and Joe Shannon, Liam Dunne, James Brennan who have all went on to play in European or World Junior Championships.

SBI would encourage all clubs, coaches, players to let their young players know about the Championship.
All matches will be the best of 3 frames including the final. The action will begin at 2pm and the Draw will be published on the SBI Web Site
The Championships promises to be an exciting event with a number of young players looking to lift their first National title.
