On Sunday the 10th of December 2023, Dylan Rees held his final meeting as Chairman of Snooker & Billiards Ireland. Dylan has been Chairman since 2020 and was the driving force behind establishing the SBI HQ in Carlow.
Dylan’s tenure as Chairman comes to an end but the Promotion of the game, Disability Events and the beautiful Academy has put SBI in a great position. The platform is now in place to build and move the game into the next phase of our sport in Ireland.
Dylan wished the new SBI Chairman Jay Chopra and the committee, all the very best for the years ahead and he has no doubt that they will take SBI to the next level and beyond.
Dylan thanked all the players / clubs / referees / coaches who supported him throughout his time. Your commitment and support to the cause will always stay with me. Dylan will now focus on playing and on his club Dungarvan SC to try and find the next ken! Fergal! or Aaron.
