Congratulations to Ireland’s Margaret O Driscoll and Michelle Sherwin from Team Ireland on reaching the Semi Finals of the 2026 European Womens Snooker Team Championships in the Ramada Sofia City Centre Hotel.
Snooker & Billiards Ireland had 4 players playing in this singles Championships here in Bulgaria with Ireland 1 of Michelle Sherwin and Margaret O’Driscoll. Ireland Team consisted of Ashling Cawley and Elle O’Connor.
Ireland had beaten several top teams on route to the semi-finals. SBI Chairman John Tobin was on hand at the medal ceremony to congratulate both girls on his fantastic achievement on winning Team bronze medal.
This was the fifth medal so far for SBI this week at this Europeans with Paula Judge winning Bronze in the Women’s Singles Championship and Paudie Kelly winning Bronze in the Super Seniors Championship and Brendan O Donoghue winning Bronze in the Seniors Championship.
Well done Team Ireland from everyone involved in Snooker & Billiards Ireland.
