Tournament director Tony Thorpe welcomed 17 players to the 2025 SBI Super Senior Championships at the Newly refurbished CYMS club in Newbridge. All the players complimented the club on the tables and conditions. A full day of top class snooker is anticipated.
The first semi-final was a very tight affair won by Frank Sarsfield on a 3 -2 score line v. Tommy Murphy. Colm Daly had a 3 – 1 win over Jim Carrick making it an all St. John’s final.
TD tony Thorpe congratulated both players on reaching the final to be played in the SBI centre in Carlow during Finals Weekend. Tony also thanked the Newbridge club for hosting the tournament.
