Snooker & Billiards Ireland would like to announce the SBI National 6 Red Championships in the SBI Academy of Excellence in Carlow on Saturday 28th February.

The TD will be Shane Mason.

There will be a winner prize of €350 for the winner of 2026 Championship.

The Entry fee

• €30.00 for over 21
• €10.00 for under 21 players

Players should be aware that all entries are now through the online system and you have to enter before the closing date of THURSDAY prior to the event at 1pm.

• Winner € 350 + Trophy
• R-Up € 200 + Trophy
• Semi Finalists €100 each
• High Break – Trophy

All players will need to register for the season. SBI Registration runs from September to September each season.

SBI Registration if not a member

• Over 21 – €35.00
• Under 21’s – €25.00

Format

All matches are knock out in the best of 9 frames format

Depending on numbers – The semi-final or final might be played during Finals Weekend

Dress Code

• Waistcoats must be worn for all matches in National Championships.
• Dark Shoes (no runners)
• Dark one coloured trousers (no jeans)
• One coloured shirt buttoned at the wrist
• National Waistcoats are not permissible
• Bowties are also required for the finals weekend of all SBI Championships.
