As of the 25th of August, Snooker & Billiards Ireland will be moving forward and evolving into the modern age with the appointment of Matthew Nolan as the new media officer of SBI, and the creation of the new SBI Social Media presence.
In order to move forward into the digital age, SBI needed to evolve their online presence. As we advance, the organisation will put a higher focus on reaching out to and communicating ongoing and future events, tournaments, competitions and much more.
To help with this, Matthew Nolan (who is currently studying Public Relations) will offer his skills and knowledge in this field to help transition from the old to the new.
On the agenda, he plans to
- Create and maintain the new social media platforms for SBI
- Create a newsletter for SBI
- Maintain good relations with SBI and its public
