The last 64 of 2016 IBSF Master World Snooker Championships in Doha was played today for RIBSA players Dylan Rees, Tom O Driscoll, Shane Gorman and Brendan Thomas.
Dylan Rees beat Asgeir Gudbjartsson from Iceland 3 frames to 2. Dylan came back from 1-2 down to win. Tom O Driscoll was beaten by Peter Lesslie from New Zealand 1 frame to 3, Tom never got going in the match. Shane Gorman was involved in a tight match against Paul Thomerson from Australia but he was beaten 1-3 in a good match. Brendan Thomas ended the day good for the Irish when he beat Muhammed Leysi from Turkey 3 frames to nil.
Dylan will now play Stephen Thomas from Wales at 1pm Sunday and Brendan will play Naveen Perwani from Pakistan at 1pm Sunday.
