Number 1 seed Noel Gleeson from Nenagh SC won the Snooker & Billiards Ireland fifth Under 21 Snooker Tour Event of the season on Saturday 20th of April in Newbridge CYMS in Co. Kildare.
In the final Noel beat Adam Halnon from Maynooth University 3 frames to 1 in an excellent final that was refereed by our National Coach PJ Nolan.
Today we had players from Cork, Tipperary, Dublin, Meath, Galway and Wexford in the event. The No.1 seed Noel Gleeson was in fantastic form with the top break in the tournament of 62.
PJ Nolan who was in charge of this tournament was very impressed with the talent on show. In the semi finals Noel Gleeson beat fellow International player James O Connell 3-1 and Adam Halnon had a good win over anther International player Ryan McGuirk also 3-2
