At the SBI Seniors Event 2 in SBI Academy in Carlow on 17th November, Shane Gorman from Mountmelick was upgraded from Class 3 to Class 2 by passing his Class 2 EBSA Snooker Examination.
Neil Shanahan EBSA Snooker Tutor examined Shane. Neil was assisted by a Shane Mason EBSA Snooker Examiner.
Shane referred a 5 frame match and was asked many questions on Snooker rules and unusual situations. Shane passed with flying colours and is now eligible to referee any match in Ireland as well at International and World Snooker Event.
