Noel Landers from Youghal CYMS won the first IBSF Under 21 RIBSA Snooker Ranking event in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow on Sunday the 21st of February. Noel will now receive a place at the World IBSF Under 21 Championship in Belgium and the Home Internationals in Leeds in August 2016.
In the final Noel beat Charlie Sweeney from Newbridge CYMS 3 frames to 2 in a high quality final after Noel beat his team mate Ross Bulman and Charlie beat Stephen Bateman in the Semi Finals.

New Format for 2015/2016
The entry fee is €10.00. Registration Fee U-21 €10.00 and U-16’s €5.00 – Proof of age required.
Three RIBSA ranking events will be held plus a Natioanl U-21 Championship with each winner receiving a ticket to the World IBSF U-21 Championships and Home Internationals. They will be joined by the highest ranked player on the U-21 rankings if needed.
Please note : The closing date for all RIBSA Under Age Tournaments will be 1pm on the Friday before the tournament. Waistcoats are required for all events however National waistcoats are not permitted.
Play will begin at 10am and the Draw will be on the RIBSA Web Site @ 3pm on the 19th February.
