Congratulations to Ireland’s 13year old Joe Shannon from Longford who have been invited to the 2024 World Snooker Shoot Out in England.
Joe was nominated this week by the WPBSA as one of the Eight amateur players have been nominated by the WPBSA to compete at the Shoot Out, to take place live on Eurosport from Wales this week.
The tournament runs from 4th to 7th December in Leicester with 128 players competing for the trophy. As usual it will feature a unique set of rules, with all matches played over a maximum of ten minutes, and a shot clock of 15 seconds for the first five minutes and ten seconds for the last five.
Joe will join Ken Doherty and Aaron Hill in the event and SBI wish all the Irish players good luck in the event.
