The Irish Masters team of Keith Sheldrick and Dylan Rees have reached the Q-final of the IBSF World Team Championship in Sharm El Shaikh Egypt today. The Knock out draw had our two Masters team playing each other when (Ireland 1) of Dylan Rees & Keith Sheldrick playing (Ireland 2) of Brendan Thomas & Stephen Merrigan. In the end it was a 3-0 win for Ireland 1 and they will now play Wales in the Q-Finals tomorrow. Come On Ireland !!!
Both Mens Team were beaten in the Last 16 by Iran and India but they will be all cheering on Dylan & Keith tomorrow in the Q-Finals

In the Mens event, Ireland 2 of Greg Casey & Karl Fitzpatrick beat Afghanistan 3-1 with Greg Casey hitting two breaks of 63 and 69 while or other team of Ireland 1, Brendan O Donoghue & Rodney Goggins beat Saudi Arabia 1.
In the last 16 Ireland 2 lost 3 frames to 1 to a very strong Iran team and Ireland 1 lost to an on form Indian team. Ireland 1 Masters are now the only team flying the flag in the Team event while Rodney Goggins will play in the 6red Q-Final tomorrow.
