Snooker & Billiards Ireland will be holding a Intro Level Coaching Ireland Coaching Course in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Saturday the 8th of Feb 2025. The course will start at 10am and finish at 6pm on the day.
The cost is €25.00 per coach and includes course files if you bring a USB.
The course is only open to a max of 8 people on the day.
The Course will be given by National Coach PJ Nolan (Role of Coaches + Playing Techniques) and Neil Shanahan (Rules of the Game)
This is a one-day course is for members who want to start coaching within their own club. The course covers the basics in coaching players to start training snooker or Billiard players.
Lady Coaches
Snooker & Billiards would like to invite any lady to attend the coaching course for free, they just need to be a SBI member and email info@sbireland.ie to avail of this offer.

All the coaches must be paid up members of the Snooker & Billiards Ireland n for the 2024 / 2025 season and membership is also paid on line.
Child Safegaurding
All the Coaches will also need to attend a 3 hr basic awareness course course

The 3hr course basic awareness course is organised by their local sports authority through the Sports Ireland.
Garda Vetted
All the coaches will also need to complete the SBI Garda Vetting before being presented with their Intro Level SBI Coaching Certificate.
