Snooker & Billiards Ireland will be holding a Intro Level Coaching Ireland Coaching Course in the SBI HQ in Carlow on Saturday the 27th September. The course will start at 10am and finish at 6pm on the day.
The Course will be given by National Coach PJ Nolan (Role of Coaches + Playing Techniques) and Neil Shanahan (Rules of the Game)
This is a one-day course is for members who want to start coaching within their own club. The course covers the basics in coaching players to start training snooker players. The cost is €25.00 per coach and includes course files if you bring a USB. The course is only open to a max of 8 people on the day.

All the coaches must be paid up members of the Snooker & Billiards Ireland for the 2025 / 2026 season and membership is also paid on line.
All the Coaches will also need to attend the following course before being presented with the Intro Level Accreditation Certificate.
- A sport partnership 3 hr basic awareness course
The 3hr course basic awareness course is organised by their local sports authority through the Sports Ireland.
All the coaches will also need to complete the Garda vetting before being presented with their Intro Level SBI Coaching Certificate.
