The International Challenge Cup will be held on Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of September at the Youghal CYMS at the Market House Youghal Co. Cork. The three Nations competing are: Defending Champions: The Republic of Ireland, France and Northern Ireland.
This is a great honour for the Youghal Catholics Young Men’s Society (CYMS) to host this fantastic tri-nation international event. The four table club in Youghal is considered amongst many in the game as the finest and most atmospheric venue in the country and when the players descend on the East Cork seaside town, they will receive a welcome that is second to none.
This snooker event will receive Europe wide coverage and when the Opening Ceremony has finished the fierce competition will begin.
On the run in to this tournament there will be extensive updates both on Facebook and Twitter and during the event there will be a dedicated media team including Derek Kiely and Michael Hussey (Photography) on site.
