The Republic Of Ireland Snooker team for the 2012 IBSF World Championship has been now been confirmed with Johnny Williams, Greg Casey and EBSA Nomination Brendan O Donoghue competing in the Men’s event.
Mark Tuite and Brendan Cooney will fly the Irish flag in the Masters event and it promises to be an exciting championship with all the top players in the world fighting for the world title.
Ger Murray will travel as an IBSF Referee Examiner, Neil Shanahan will be Assistant Head Referee and Paddy English will Referee in the Championships which will be held in Sofia Bulgaria from the 24th November to the 2nd of December in Princess Dedeman Hotel.
National Coach PJ Nolan will travel with the team to the World Championship and RIBSA will hold a training day with PJ in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Tuesday the 13th of November from 11am to 4pm.
