David Hogan from Borrisokane retained the Munster Close Snooker Championship in the New Institute Snooker Club in Nenagh over the Weekend.
In the Final David beat Ryan Cronin from the Crucible Snooker Club in Cork who will be representing Ireland in this month European Under 21 Championship in Romania.
Brendan O Donoghue won the highest break with a superb 90 Break.
All the players thanks everyone who helped make it a successful event for the New Institute Club and to Patsy Farrell for being the tournament director on the day.
Well done to David Hogan on winning back to back titles and commiserations to runner up Ryan Cronin. Thanks finally to all those who travelled, especially referee Breda Doherty for doing the final.
