On Saturday 17th February, Snooker & Billiards Ireland held their final International Snooker Training Camp with our National Coach PJ Nolan in the SBI HQ in Carlow.
The camp was to prepare our National players for the 2024 European Snooker Championships which will be held in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) from the 11th to the 23rd March 2024. The players practiced on the Star & Rasson Match Tables from 11am-4pm.
Training Camps
PJ Nolan held sessions on Break-Building, Cue Ball Control, Safety, Long Potting and Technique checks. All the players will received a training program booklet with practice drills plus a sports phycology booklet to help them work on their mind fitness.
The latest training aids will be used in the camp to enhance the sessions like the Mini Domin Eye, Master Doctor, Str8aim SA-1 & SA-2, Chris Henry Balls, Academy laser, EBSA Coaching Balls to help to get them on the line of aim and develop a smoother stroke in their delivery.
