Last week Snooker & Billiards Ireland had the pleasure of welcoming Irish Professional Snooker Player Fergal O Brien around the Snooker & Billiards Ireland Academy of Excellence in Carlow. Our National Coach PJ Nolan was on hand to show Fergal around all the facilities we have in the Academy and Fergal was very impressed.
Fergal said ‘’ As a snooker fan let alone player I was delighted and proud to see the SBI academy last week. Finally, we in Ireland have top class conditions and facilities, from the star tables and proper lighting to seating area everything is in place for players of all standard to improve and play their best.
Congratulations to Dylan PJ and all on the SBI board for all their hard work to make this happen. I look forward to using the facilities myself and coming to watch the many tournaments that are played their Regards Fergal ‘’
The academy will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday each week day from 12noon to 8pm. SBI will be planning tournaments and events on the Saturday and Sundays each week. The Academy will be closed all day Mondays.
Prices
The prices for booking a table will be €20.00 for a 2 hrs session. It will be €30.00 for a half day of 4hrs and it will be €40.00 for a full day of 8hrs play. Payment in Cash is only accepted at present but from September it will be done online. This offer is only open to SBI Members who were signed up with SBI Membership for 2022-2023 season.
