Joe Delaney from the Classic SC in Dublin followed up his win last month in the Masters Event 2 by winning the third RIBSA Masters Snooker Ranking event of the season ” The Ivy Rooms Classic” sponsored by the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Sunday the 11th of November in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club, Carlow.
In the final Joe beat John O Sullivan from the Kilkenny Shed in a high quality final after Joe beat John Farrell and John beat Michael Judge in two great semi finals.
Michael Judge won the high break with a fantastic 104 break.

RIBSA Top 16 Masters Play-Off
RIBSA would like to remind all RIBSA masters players that a Top 16 RIBSA playoff will be held on December 1st in Roadstone SC in Dublin with the winner receiving a place at the Irish Masters in Goffs against one of the legends of the game on January 5th & 6th 2019.
All 16 players will be pre-entered and if anyone is unable to play, they should contact info@ribsa.ie and the next player on the rankings will be invited. The Draw for the Top 16 playoff will be done on Monday the 26th November at 3pm. The closing date for Confirmation is Sunday 6pm.
World Seniors Qualifier – Celbridge SC
Celbridge Snooker Club will also hold a open qualifier for the Irish Masters on the new World Seniors Tour from the 24rd-25th of November. You can enter on the link below. Do not miss your chance to play in this new exciting World Snooker Senior Tour with events all around the world.

Please Note – Closing Dates
The closing date for all Masters Tournaments this season will be 1pm on the Saturday before the tournament. The Draw will be posted on the website as soon as possible. National waistcoats are not permitted to be worn at Masters Tournaments. You can now text your entry to 085 2428701.
Top 16 Play-Off
RIBSA announced before Event 1 that after event 3, the top 16 Masters will play-off for a place in Goffs in January in the World Senior ‘Irish Masters’ against one of the Legends of the game.
Entry Fees
The cost of entry for Masters Tournaments will be €20.00 plus RIBSA registration of €15.00,Waistcoats must be worn for all matches. National Waistcoats are not permissible. Shane Mason will be the TD for the event.

Tournament Prize Fund
Players are asked to note that the prize fund for tournaments in 2018/19 season will depend on number of entries less tournament expenses.
Prize fund and expenses will be announced on the day at each event. Expenses will include payment of Tournament Director, Referees and payment of €2 per player to host club.
ENTRY INFO
The 2018 – 2019 RIBSA Master Snooker Ranking Series will feature 6 Ranking events and the National Snooker Championships this season. These rankings will be used to select the master International players.
A Copy of the Rules for all tournaments will be available at the venue.
