Last week our National Coach PJ Nolan held a Snooker Cue Zone in the Crucible Snooker Club in Cork City. Among the players whom attended varied from Current Irish Junior International to the new up and coming Juniors who will represent their club in the Munster Championships in Killarney this year.
The Crucible was recently awarded RIBSA Club of the Year for 2013 and within the club there is a great atmosphere that is steeped in tradition of producing more Junior and Senior Internationals than almost any other club in Ireland like Greg Casey, David Cassidy, Ryan Cronin, Daniel O Regan, Sean Burns and after the Cue Zone the next generation of Crucible players will produce more champions over the next few seasons like 9 year old snooker whiz kid Sean Walsh who really impressed PJ with his game.
PJ worked on the players Stance, Address Position, Grip and developing a smooth delivery in their Cue Actions. They also practiced some of PJ’s key practice routines to improve their Cue Ball Control.

The cost of holding a RIBSA session is €20.00 per hour coaching time plus €20.00 per hour travel time from Carlow plus tolls and parking. If you would like to travel to the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow you can avail of a 2hr session for €55.00 which includes Lights, DVD of the lesson and Technique profile.
