On Saturday the 31st of January 2026, the official launch took place of Clancy Homes launching their Sponsorship of SBI Junior Snooker for next 3 years in the Snooker & Billiards Ireland Academy in Carlow. A tea and Coffee morning was held and featured cakes, biscuits and cookies for all in attendance.
SBI Secretary Leslie Carroll said Snooker & Billiards Ireland are delighted to have Clancy Homes as the main sponsor of Junior Snooker in Ireland for the next 3 years. National and Local Developmental days will be held by our team of SBI qualified coaches to promote our sport across the country.
All the parents and guardians in attendance welcomed the boost to Junior Snooker and were excited about the development for their child. Nigel Cooke representing Clancy Homes said that he hopes this will help SBI become even stronger on the National and International stage.
Our National Coach PJ Nolan said that a National Elite Squads at 14’s, 16’s and 18’s will be selected. Each squad will be called the Aaron Hill Elite Junior Squad. Our very own Irish Leading Professional from Cork has agreed to put his name behind the project.
The players will be coached and trained by our National Coach PJ Nolan in our National Academy in Carlow. Clancy Homes will also sponsor the National Junior Shoot Out plus clothing for our National Teams travelling to international events.
SBI partnership with Clancy Homes in aimed at encouraging more junior players to play our beautiful sport. SBI would like to thank Clancy Homes for their sponsorship and to Aaron Hill as we are sure it will be a huge success for Junior Snooker in Ireland.
