World No.1 David Causier from England defeated Peter Gilchrist from Singapore to win the 2025 Irish Open in the Snooker & Billiards Ireland HQ in Carlow, Ireland on Sunday 6th of April.
WBL Aonghus McAnally and SBI President Jim Leacy presented the prizes and thanked all the players for making it a fantastic event. The final was refereed by Irish International Referee Kevin Christie.

Today the 7th of April starts the 2025 Macau Casino WBL World Match-Play Championship in the SBI Academy in Carlow, Ireland featuring the world best players. This will be followed by IBSF World Billiards Championships next week.
