Sweeney Wins U-14 Ranking Event 1

Charlie Sweeney from Newbridge CYMS won the first Under 14 ranking event of the season in Celbridge SC on Saturday. In the final Charlie beat Michael Woods from Dublin 2 frames to 1. Karl Fitzpatrick Wins U-21 Ranking Event 1

Cork’s Ryan Cronin captured the first Under-19 Ranking Event title of the season in the Victoria Club, Limerick beating his club mate David Cassidy 3-2 in the final. Ireland’s Under-14’s and Under-16’s captured the North South Challenge on Sunday the 3rd of July after a superb display against their Northern Ireland counterparts. Vincent Muldoon returned to winning ways in The North West Snooker Club, Letterkenny today when he won the first of this season’s Under 21 Ranking tournaments.
