Aaron Donnelly from Newbridge CYMS is the new National U-16 Snooker Champion. Snooker & Billiards Ireland held the 2025 National Finals Weekend in the Snooker & Billiards Ireland HQ in Carlow this weekend the 17th and 18th of May where we crowned 13 National Snooker & Billiards Champions.
Today Aaron won his first National title against Dermot Kelly from Westport Co. Mayo in a great final 3 frames to nil. The match was refereed by Richie Toal. Each frame was very close and could of went both ways. SBI President Jim Leacy presented all the awards to the winners and the High break went to Joe Shannon.
It has been a fantastic year of top class U-16 snooker in this category and SBI hope to build on this success next season.
