On behalf of the EBSA Board of Directors and the Bulgaria Snooker Federation (BSF), I have pleasure in inviting you to send players to take part in the Individual Women & Seniors + 6 Reds Snooker Championships, in the Shoot-Out + All Teams Snooker Championships And with the support of the WDBS, the Disability Snooker Championships that will be held in the city of Sofia/Bulgaria, from the 9th to the 24th September 2026.
In Addition to, this year’s European Championships, the EBSA with the support of the BSF will host the Q-Tour Europe event 2 from the 21st to 24th September in the same venue.
- Seniors Individual Championships: 4 players (players must be 40 on the first day of competition)
- Super Seniors Individual Championships: 4 players (players must be 55 on the first day of competition)
- Women’s Individual Championships: 6 players
- Seniors Team Championships: 2 Teams of 2 players
- Super Seniors Team Championships: 2 Teams of two players
- Women’s Team Championships – 3 Teams of two players
- 6 Reds Championships – 4 players
- Shoot-Out Championships – 2 players
- Disability European Open Championships – Classifications to be confirmed by the WDBS.
- Men’s Team Championships – 3 Teams of two players
- WPBSA Q-Tour Europe Event 2 – Open entries to all players.

VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL PLAYERS
In entering this competition, players accept to comply and adhere to the EBSA Championship Conditions.
As agreed at the last AGM, players cannot enter both the Seniors and Super Seniors. Players must decide whether they wish to play in either the Seniors or the Super Seniors individual championships as they will not be permitted to enter both Championships. Players will be able to enter the other Championships (Teams, 6Reds, etc).
Please also check the calendar of events (contained later in this letter) as no player may enter championships that overlap as shown in the Calendar of Events.
ENTRY CONFIRMATION & ENTRY FEES PAYMENT
Important: Entry Forms will be available online until Friday 28th of August 2026 (Midnight CET)
Players Entries must be paid to the EBSA account or confirmed by email before the closing date that it will be paid by cash at the venue before the start of each championship. Any Entry confirmed or paid on the 28th August will be due by the National Association. Entries will not be accepted if not paid or confirmed in time.
Online payment for the Entry must be done by (NGB) National Associations only. No payment will be accepted online from individual players. Please fill the online Entry Form on the www.ebsa.tv website. PLEASE ONLY MAKE PAYMENT USING THE BANK DETAILS AS SHOWN ON PAGE 4. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT SEND PAYMENT TO ANY OTHER EBSA BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER – PLEASE ONLY USE THE BANK DETAILS CONTAINED IN THIS LETTER.

REFEREES
A Total of 28 International Referees will be selected to participate at these Championships. Referees’ accommodation will be available starting from the 8th – 21st September 2026. ONLY 8 referees will be invited to stay until the 25th September 2026. Please inform the EBSA if your referee wish to stay until the 21st or 25th September 2026.
Any referees wishing to have single occupancy will be required to pay 50% of the full cost of a Twin room for the duration of their stay. Accommodation will be provided on a Bed & Breakfast basis, with referees sharing a room. Two (2) additional meals per day will be provided by the BSF. Referees travelling to Bulgaria will receive from the EBSA an allowance of €300 to help them with their travel costs.
Referees must be members of their National Association and must be nominated by their National Governing Body. The Tournament Committee will select referees, with priority being given to countries sending players to support the championships.

Please remember to enter referee’s information to the online Travel-Accommodation Form. Referees MUST NOT book any travel until they have received confirmation of their selection.

COACHING
A Cue‐Zone will be available at the Ramada Hotel in Sofia for coaching players and new EBSA/WPBSA Coaches.
The seminar for new coaches will take place from the 17th to 19th of September at the Ramada Hotel. A letter with application form issued by the EBSA Coaching Committee is attached to this email. Requests with the completed form and photo must be sent from the National Association to the EBSA General Secretary simon@icuesports.com and a copy to the EBSA Head of coaching pjcoach147@hotmail.com
