2025 European Snooker Championship – Turkey

The EBSA Board of Directors and the TÜRKİYE BİLARDO FEDERASYONU (TBF) have pleasure in inviting you to send players to take part in the European Snooker Championship and U16, U18, U21 Snooker Championships that will be held at the Pine Beach Belek Hotel, from the 9th to the 22nd March 2025

Snooker & Billiards Ireland have confirmed that the cut-off date for qualification will be the 31st of December 2024. Three Amateur and two U-21, U-18 and U-16 Events will be played SBI are now requesting the top 5 players in each U-16, U-18, U-21 and Amateur rankings by the 31^st of December to email info@sbireland.ie if they would be interested in playing in these Championships in Turkey.

The top 5 available players from the rankings will be selected. Confirmation of players, Flights, Hotels will then begin in early January and International training camps will be held to prepare our players for this Championship.

Five (5) players for the Under 16’s Championship (players must be U16 on 31st March 2025).
Five (5) players for the Under 18’s Championship (players must be U18 on 31st March 2025).
‐ Five (5) players to the Under 21’s Championship (players must be U21 on 31st March 2025).
‐ Five (5) players to the European Snooker Men’s Championship

Deposit

To confirm your place, you will need to pay a €250.00 deposit to secure your place by 5^th January.

SBI will add to this a grant of €150 for each player. SBI will then pay the €400 off their hotel bill in Turkey.

A confirmation email must be received before the 31^st December and a reply email will then be sent to each player with bank details for deposit.

Flights

All players must book their own flights. Next week SBI will be sending an official flight option for each event in Turkey. The players will be travelling the day before and leaving the day after the event. A cue bag will be allocated for each flight.

If you decide to travel on another day or airline, you will be responsible for their own travel and cue.

Hotel

All bookings of the Hotel will be done by SBI through the EBSA online system. Only plyers booked by SBI through the EBSA will be allowed to participate in this Championship.

SBI will need to know the names, of everyone travelling with the players including passports and room requirements i.e. Double, twin or family rooms.
