The 10th year of the Under 12 Irish National Snooker Championship will be held on the 27th of April in the SBI Academy of Excellence in Carlow. Ten years ago Corey Ramsbottom from Carlow won the first ever U-12 Title in 2014 and on the 27th April we will crown a new Champion.
In 2023 Liam Dunne from Edenderry SC won the title which is sponsored by The 147 Academy of PJ Nolan. This event has a free entry fee to encourage all young players from all parts of Ireland to participate in a SBI National event.
In recent years the u-12 title has also been won by Noel Gleeson, Leone Crowley, Jack O Brien and Joe Shannon who have all went on to play in European or World Junior Championships.
SBI would encourage all clubs, coaches, players to let their young players know about the Championship.
All matches will be the best of 3 frames including the final. The action will begin at 1pm and the Draw will be published on the SBI Web Site on 25th of April.
The Championships promises to be an exciting event with a number of young players looking to lift their first National title.
