The 2016 Leinster Club Championship was played over Sat/Sun 3rd and 4th December in the Ivy Rooms Carlow. After the group stages the old reliables of current champions Kilkenny Shed qualified to play Newbridge CYMS “A” in the 1st Semi-final and former all-Ireland champions Q Club Wicklow played Potters Drogheda “A” in the 2nd.
Q club ran out comfortable winners over Potters Drogheda “A”on a 3 – 0 scoreline and met Kilkenny Shed in the final who overcame Newbridge CYMS “A” 3 – 2 in a topsy turvey match which went to the last frame.
