Michelle Sherwin retained the Irish Ladies Championships trophy with a superb display in the Ivy Rooms Snooker in Carlow tonight. Michelle Sherwin played the Irish No.2 Claire Mill in the final. Michelle won the opening two frames but Mill fought back to win the third, back came Sherwin to win the next two frames to claim her 11th title. The Referee was Stephen Ryan who refereed his first national final and did an excellent job.
