This week our National Coach PJ Nolan travelled to the National University Of Maynooth in County Kildare to hold a Coaching Camp for the Maynooth Inter Varsities Snooker and Pool team.
During this camp PJ worked on correct fundamentals in the players Stance, Address Position and developing a smooth delivery in their Cue Actions. All the players received a DVD of their coaching along a training booklet to study at home.
The players potting skills were excellent during the camp and PJ gave the players some on his Academy practice routines to improve their Cue Ball Control as their position play needs improvement.
One of the leading Maynooth players in attendance was Paddy Brady from Sligo who won the 2013 Inter Varsities singles Championship and he is fully focused on helping Maynooth win the team event in 2014.
PJ said ” I really enjoyed training the players as their attitudes were excellent. I would like to thank the University for inviting me to train the players and I am already looking forward to holding the next camp to check on the players improvement ”
