On behalf of the EBSA Board of Directors and the Real Federaciòn Española de Billar (RFEB), I have pleasure to inform you of the details of the 2026 European Snooker Championship and U16, U18, U21 Snooker Championships that will be held at the Gandia Palace Hotel, from the 1st to the 14th of March 2026 in the city of Gandia/Spain.
All players can be 16,18 and 21 for these Junior events.
Example : Over age means having your 17th Birthday before 31st August for the 16’s
Over age means having your 19th Birthday before 31st August for the 18’s
Over age means having your 22nd Birthday before 31st August for the 21’s
The change of cut-off date to 31st August each year not only brings EBSA in-line with other International Federations, e.g., International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF) cut-off dates, but also in line with most other IOC recognised sports

SBI will be contacting all our players and they need to confirm their availability to represent Ireland in this event.
