The All Ireland Grand Prix will be held in Newbridge on Saturday, 30th August and Sunday, 31st August. It will be the fourth staging of the event.
Previous Winners –
2019 – Aaron Hill (held in Antrim)
2022 – Raymond Fry (held in the SBI Academy)
2023 – Robbie McGuigan (held in Antrim)
Entry Fee is 60 euro. As we go to press there is 1,100 euro prize fund (we hope there will be more).
The top 8 players from SBI and NIBSA do battle in a 16 man individual tournament. All matches are best of 7 frames. It will truly be the best getting invited. We hope that this tournament will grow into something great. The only way to get invited is that players will play in their domestic ranking point tournaments.
The Race for the Grand Prix starts again at the start for next season. The Top 8 will be invited for 2026. This is the equivalent of the amateur Masters.
