On behalf of the EBSA Board of Directors, LAMBADA TRAVEL & DMC and the Bilijar Snooker Savez (BIH), I have pleasure in inviting you to send players to take part in the U16, U18, U21, and Men Snooker Championships that will be held at the Hills Hotel in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) , from the 11th to the 23rd March 2024.
Having received feedback from a number of members, EBSA Board have agreed to use a cut-off date as 31st March 2024. This matter will be discussed further at the EBSA Annual General Meeting on Saturday 16th March 2023, where a final decision will be made on the age cut-off date.
Training Camp with PJ
Snooker & Billiards Ireland will hold two International Snooker Training Camps with our National Coach PJ Nolan in the SBI HQ in Carlow to prepare our National players for the 2024 European Snooker Championships which will be held in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) from the 11th to the 23rd March 2024.
The players will practiced on the Star & Rasson Match Tables from 11am-4pm on each day of the Camp.

PLAYERS: From the Friday 15th December 2023 you will find on the EBSA website www.ebsa.tv the Entry Form and Travel/Accommodation Form which need to be filled in as instructed for a maximum entry of:
- Five (5) players for the Under 16’s Championship (players must be U16 on 31st March 2024).
- Five (5) players for the Under 18’s Championship (players must be U18 on 31st March 2024).
- Five (5) players to the Under 21’s Championship (players must be U21 on 31st March 2024).
- Five (5) players to the Men Championship (players must be aged 12 at start of the event).

Please remember that All Championships are Mixed Gender. Please also remember for the U16 and U18 Championships: Each member country will be able to receive two free entries that can be used in either the Under 16’s or the Under 18’s Championships. According to the EBSA/WPBSA agreement, the U21 and Men Champions will be nominated for the 2024/2026 Main Professional Tour.
Please use the username and password that you’ve received to fill in the forms ‘Online’. All participants, including referees and supporters, must be on the Travel‐Accommodation form.
THE CLOSING DATE FOR PLAYERS ENTRIES: Sunday 11th February 2024 (Midnight, GMT). Players Entries must be paid to the EBSA account before the closing date and entries will not be confirmed if payment is not received by Sunday 11th February 2024 (Midnight, GMT) Please refer to the updated EBSA Championship Conditions for further information.
REFEREES: A maximum of 30 international referees will be invited by the BIH. Referees’ accommodation will be available starting from the 10th until the 23rd March 2024. Any referees wishing to have single occupancy will be required to pay 50% of the full cost of a Twin room for the duration of their stay. Accommodation will be provided on a Bed & Breakfast basis, with 2 referees sharing a room. Two (2) additional meals per day will be provided by the BIH. Referees travelling to Sarajevo will receive from the EBSA an allowance of €300 to help them with their travel costs.
Referees must be members of their National Association and will be confirmed by the EBSA Referees Committee. Please remember to enter referee’s information to the online Travel and Accommodation Form. The CLOSING DATE FOR REFEREE NOMINATIONS: Sunday 14th January 2024. Please send names of nominated Referees to myself and a copy to Maxime Cassis. Referees will be selected immediately after the closing date.
COACHING COURSE: As with every EBSA Championships, there will be a coaches course by PJ Nolan taking place during the championships and I have attached further information and application forms.
