On Friday the 30th of June SBI held a Junior Snooker Training Camp for the upcoming Celtic Challenge in the SBI HQ in Carlow with our National Coach PJ Nolan to help our players prepare for this year’s event which takes place on Saturday the 1st July in Carlow.
The Under 18 Team: Jack O Brien TEAM CAPTAIN, Aaron Smith – David Farrelly – Ben Du Bois
The Under 16 Team: Joe Shannon – Aaron Donnelly – Davy Hickey – Lorcán Ó Curraoin
The Under 14 Team: Oscar Ellison Gibbons – Liam Dunne – Aaron Horan – Cathal Horgan
All the players were all in superb form during the camp where they practiced Long Potting, Safety, Match-Play and Break Building routines. The players practiced from 11am – 4pm and PJ worked on their mind fitness on the psychology of the game in order to prepare their best for the event.
