The 147 Snooker Club in the main street Wexford is the next club to be visited by PJ Nolan in his journey around the country. Club owner Tommy Leacy met with our National Coach this week and showed him around the club.
The club opens Monday – Saturday 12 noon – to late and on Sundays from 2pm – to late. The snooker club contains 11 full size Snooker tables, 4 English Pool Tables plus probably the world biggest Table Tennis Table.
The prices are set at €6.00 per hour for snooker, €1.00 per game for pool and €6.00 per hour for Table Tennis.
The club has a great history of holding RIBSA events and it was the main training centre for all the famous Wexford players over the years including current Irish Number 1 Rodney Goggins who trains every day in the club.
At present the club runs a number of weekly snooker and pool events and It is hoped it will help promote more juniors from Wexford to get more involved in playing snooker and Pool.
