Congratulations to Ireland’s Paudie Kelly & Brendan Thomas from Team Ireland on reaching the Semi Finals of the 2026 European Super Snooker Team Championships in the Ramada Sofia City Centre Hotel.
Snooker & Billiards Ireland had 3 teams playing in this Team Championships here in Bulgaria with Paudie Kelly, Brendan Thomas, Paul Kellett, Mick Dalton, Paul Arnold and John Carney
Ireland had beaten several top teams on route to the semi-finals. SBI Chairman John Tobin was on hand at the medal ceremony to congratulate both girls on his fantastic achievement on winning Team bronze medal.
This was the sixth medal so far for SBI at this Europeans with Paula Judge winning Bronze in the Women’s Singles Championship, Paudie Kelly winning Bronze in the Super Seniors Singles Championship, Brendan O Donoghue winning Bronze in the Seniors Singles Championship. Michelle Sherwin & Margaret O Driscoll winning Bronze in the Womens Team Championships and now Bronze for the Super Senior Team Champoionship.
