Tony Seymour from the New Institute in Nenagh won the third RIBSA Masters event of the season in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow. In the final he beat Celbridge player Nigel Power in the wee hours at 12:30am in a dramatic final frame. Tony needed two snookers and the match went to the final black ball game only to see Nigel pot the black but went in off to give the title to Tony 3 frames to 2.
RIBSA would like to thank Marion Lacey and all the staff at the Ivy Rooms for the use of their fantastic facilities. The next event in the series is next January 11th.
The high break went to James Bateman with a superb 90 Break.
